Doxifin® Tabs is an oral doxycycline-based antibiotic. Doxycycline belongs to the tetracycline class, which is effective against a wide range of bacteria, especially intracellular organisms. It achieves higher intracellular concentrations than other tetracyclines due to its high level of fat solubility.

How to take, the dosage

The recommended therapeutic dose is 10 mg doxycycline per one kilogram of animal weight.
The drug is given once a day for a week (daily).
In the treatment of some diseases (e.g. ehrlichiosis) the duration of the drug can be increased up to 28 days.

Contraindications

It is forbidden to use to treat animals with allergies to doxycycline.
It is also not recommended to give the drug to lactating or pregnant females, puppies and kittens younger than one month (30 days).
