The combination of lincomycin and spectinomycin has additive and, in some cases, combined action. Spectinomycin is bacteriostatic or bactericidal, depending on the dose, effective against Gram-negative bacteria Campylobacter, E. coli (E. coli), Salmonella, Mycoplasma. Lincomycin is bacteriostatic and inhibits Gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus, Streptococcus as well as Mycoplasma and Treponema. Cross-resistance between lincomycin and macrolides can occur.

Indications

Comprehensive treatment of age-related and inflammatory joint diseases in dogs. Prevention of osteoarthritis, osteoarthritis. At high physical loads on the joints. To improve local metabolic processes in chronic recurrent bone and joint disease. Recovery period after injuries of the bone and joint system (sprains of ligaments, tendons, fractures and fractures).

Composition

Interspectin-L is a sterile, colorless, clear suspension for injection. 1 ml solution contains: spectinomycin 100 mg; lincomycin 50 mg; solvent to 1 ml.

How to take, the dosage

Calves: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 4 days.
Goats and sheep: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 3 days. Cats and dogs: 1 ml per 5 kg body weight for 3 to 5 days up to 21 days.
Poultry and turkeys: 0.5 ml per 2.5 kg body weight for 3 days.

Special Instructions

Lead time for meat: cattle, cattle, pigs – 14 days; poultry and turkeys – 7 days; for milk – 3 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to spectinomycin and lincomycin, renal and hepatic insufficiency.

Side effects

Allergic reactions. Shortly after the injection of interspectin, slight pain, itching, or diarrhea may occur. These go away without any intervention.
