Pharmacological properties
Combination drug of herbal origin.
Pharmacological properties are caused by the biologically active substances included in the drug. Sinupretâ has secretolytic, secretomotor, anti-inflammatory, anti-edema, moderate antibacterial, antiviral action. It promotes the outflow of exudate from the sinuses and upper respiratory tract, preventing the development of complications.

Indications

Acute and chronic sinusitis accompanied by formation of viscous secretions.

Composition

Active ingredients:
Gentian root 6.0 mg
Primrose flowers 18.0 mg
Sorrel herb 18.0 mg
Elderflower flowers 18.0 mg
Verbena herb 18.0 mg

Excipients:
gelatin, lactose monohydrate, potato starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, sorbitol, stearic acid
Tablet shell:
butyl methacrylate copolymer basic, calcium carbonate, castor oil, chlorophyll powder, dextrin, glucose, indigo carmine aluminum lacquer (E 132), magnesium oxide, corn starch, montan glycol wax, riboflavin (E 101), shellac, sucrose, talc, titanium dioxide.

How to take, the dosage

Overly, without chewing, with a small amount of water.

Adults: 2 tablets 3 times a day.

School-age children: 1 tablet 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 7-14 days.

If symptoms last longer than 7-14 days or recur intermittently, a doctor should be consulted.

Interaction

Combination with antibacterial drugs is possible and reasonable. Interaction with other drugs is not known so far.

Special Instructions

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring increased concentration and quick psychomotor reactions (including driving vehicles, working with moving machinery).

Persons with diabetes

The digestible carbohydrates in one tablet are about 0.01 “bread units” (BE).

Synopsis

Round biconvex green coated tablets with a smooth surface. The break shows three layers: the inner one is light brown with a greenish tint to brown, white spots are possible; the middle one is white; the outer one is green.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, lactase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption, sugar/isomaltase deficiency, intolerance to lactose, fructose, galactose (due to the drug content of lactose monohydrate, glucose and sucrose), children under 6 years (due to insufficient clinical data).

Side effects

Allergic reactions (skin rash, skin redness, itching, angioedema, shortness of breath), gastrointestinal disorders (pain in the epigastric region, nausea) are possible. If side effects occur, stop taking the drug and consult a physician.

Overdose

In case of overdose, the severity of dose-dependent side effects may increase. Treatment is symptomatic.

Pregnancy use

Use of Sinupretâ during pregnancy is possible only if prescribed by a physician. It is not recommended to take the drug while breastfeeding (due to lack of experience in its clinical use).
