Pectusin is a combined drug.

Menthol is a local irritant, whose effect is mainly due to reflex reactions associated with irritation of sensitive receptors of mucous membranes.

It has a mild local anesthetic (“distracting”) effect, has mild antiseptic properties.

Eucalyptus oil has a stimulating effect on the receptors of mucous membranes and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action.

Indications

Inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract, sore throat, laryngitis, bronchitis.

Composition

Active ingredients:

racementol4 mg;

eucalyptus leaf oil 500 mcg;

Excipients:

powdered sugar – 0.75 g;

sodium salt of carboxymethylcellulose – 0.012 g;

calcium stearate – 0.0035 g.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity.
