Description

The drug activates cellular and humoral immunity processes. Immunomodulatory effect is due to stimulation of B-lymphocytes, activation of T-helpers. Derinat activates nonspecific resistance of the body, optimizing inflammatory reactions and immune response to bacterial, viral and fungal antigens.

Derinat stimulates the drainage and detoxification function of the lymphatic system. Derinat significantly reduces the sensitivity of cells to the damaging effects of chemotherapeutic drugs and radiation therapy. The drug has no embryotoxic, teratogenic and carcinogenic actions.

Pharmacokinetics

Absorption and distribution

The drug is quickly absorbed and distributed in organs and tissues with participation of endolymphatic transport route. It is highly tropic to organs of hematopoietic system and actively participates in cellular metabolism by incorporating into cellular structures.

During the phase of intensive drug entry into the blood, redistribution between the plasma and the blood forming elements occurs in parallel with metabolism and excretion. After a single injection all pharmacokinetic curves describing changes in the drug concentration in the studied organs and tissues are characterized by a fast phase of increasing and fast phase of decreasing of the concentration in the time interval of 5-24 hours.

The half-life period (T U1/2 ) when administered intramuscularly is 72.3 hours. In the course of daily course of administration Derinat is accumulated in the organs and tissues: maximum: – in the bone marrow, lymph nodes, spleen, thymus; to a lesser extent – in the liver, brain, stomach, small and large intestine.

Maximum concentration in bone marrow is determined 5 hours after drug administration. The drug crosses the blood-brain barrier. The maximum concentration of the drug in the brain is reached after 30 minutes.

Metabolism and excretion.

Derinat is metabolized in the body. It is excreted from the body (as metabolites) partially with the feces, and to a greater extent with the urine by a biexponential relationship.

Indications

Bedsores, inflammation of the female genitalia, hemorrhoids, sinusitis, frostbite, burns, maxillary sinuses, trophic ulcers, flu and cold prevention, flu, immunodeficiency, colds, runny nose (rhinitis).ul>

Radiation lesions;

disorders of hematopoiesis;

Myelodepression and resistance to cytostatics in cancer patients developed against the background of cytostatic and/or radiation therapy (stabilization of hematopoiesis, reduction of cardio- and myelotoxicity of chemotherapy);

stomatitis, induced by cytostatic therapy;

gastric and duodenal ulcer, erosive gastroduodenitis;

ischemic heart disease;

obliterative vascular disease of the lower extremities, chronic ischemic disease of the lower extremities stage II – III;

trophic ulcers, wounds that don’t heal for a long time;

dontogenic sepsis, septic complications

with pyo-septic complications

burning disease;

preoperative and postoperative periods (in surgical practice);

endometritis;

chlamydia, ureaplasmosis, mycoplasmosis;

How to take, the dosage

Derinat in the form of an injection solution is administered to adults in a single average dose of 75 mg (5 ml of 1.5% solution) at intervals of 24-72 hours.

In case of CHD, 10 injections of the drug are prescribed at intervals of 48-72 hours.

In case of peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum 5 injections with an interval of 48 hours are prescribed.

In case of cancer 3-10 injections with an interval of 24-72 hours.

In case of uterine myoma and prostatitis 10 injections at intervals of 24-48 hours.

In case of tuberculosis – 10-15 injections at intervals of 24-48 hours.

In acute inflammatory diseases – 3-5 injections at intervals of 24-72 hours.

In chronic inflammatory diseases – 5 injections at 24-hour intervals, then 5 injections at 72-hour intervals.

In children the number of injections/injections of the drug is the same as in adults.

In children under 2 years of age the drug is prescribed in an average single dose of 7.5 mg (0.5 ml of 1.5% solution), in children aged from 2 to 10 years the single dose is determined at the rate of 0.5 ml of the drug per year of life.

Interaction

Combined use with other drugs may increase the therapeutic effect of Derinat.

Derinat may increase the effect of anticoagulants when used together.

Special Instructions

In order to reduce soreness Derinat is injected intramuscularly slowly, for 1-2 minutes.

We recommend warming the bottle in the hand to body temperature immediately before injection.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

A short-term increase in body temperature.
