The drug activates cellular and humoral immunity. Optimizes specific reactions against fungal, viral and bacterial infections. The drug stimulates reparative and regenerative processes, normalizes tissues and organs in dystrophies of vascular origin.

Derinat promotes healing of trophic ulcers of various etiologies. Derinat promotes rapid healing of deep burns, significantly accelerating the dynamics of epithelization. When restoring ulcers on the mucosa under the action of Derinat there is a scarless recovery. The drug has no teratogenic and carcinogenic actions.

Pharmacokinetics:

Derinat when applied topically is quickly absorbed and distributed in the organs and tissues with the participation of the endolymphatic transport route. During the phase of intensive entry of the drug into the blood, redistribution between the plasma and the blood forming elements occurs in parallel with metabolism and excretion. Derinat is metabolized in the body.

It is excreted from the body (as metabolites) partially in the feces and, to a greater extent, in the urine in a biexponential relationship.

How to take, the dosage

Derinat in the form of a solution for external and local application is prescribed depending on the localization of the pathological process. The drug is prescribed for children from the first day of life and adults. For the prevention of acute respiratory infections 2 drops 2-4 times a day for 1-2 weeks are drops put into each nostril.

In case of symptoms of respiratory illness the drug is put into drops 2-3 in each nostril every 1-1.5 hours during the first day, then – 2-3 drops in each nostril 3-4 times during the course of therapy – from 5 days to 1 month. In inflammatory diseases of the nasal cavity and sinuses the drug is put in 3-5 drops in each nasal passage 4-6 times a day; course duration – 7-15 days. In inflammatory diseases of the mouth rinse with a solution of the drug 4-6 times a day (1 vial for 2-3 rinses). The course of therapy is 5-10 days.

In chronic inflammatory diseases, fungal, bacterial and other infections in gynecological practice – intravaginal introduction of tampons with the preparation or irrigation of the vagina and cervix with 5 ml per procedure 1-2 times a day for 10-14 days. In hemorrhoids the drug is administered rectally with 15-40 ml of microclysters.

The course of treatment is 4-10 days. In ophthalmic practice with severe inflammatory and dystrophic processes Derinat is put into the eyes in 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day for 14-45 days. In cases of obliterating diseases of the lower extremities in order to achieve a systemic effect the drug is put into the eye 1-2 drops in each nasal passage 6 times a day, the course duration is up to 6 months.

In cases of post-radiation necrosis of skin and mucous membranes, long-lasting nonhealing wounds, burns, chilblains, trophic ulcers of different etiology, gangrene it is recommended to put dressings on the affected areas (2-layer gauze) where the preparation is applied 3-4 times a day or to treat the affected area by spraying 10-40 ml 4-5 times a day. The course of treatment is 1-3 months.

Contraindications

• high sensitivity to the components of the drug.
