Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug,
acute pancreatitis,
exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis,
acute hepatitis,
acute liver dystrophy,
exacerbation of peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum.

Side Effects

The drug is usually well tolerated, but allergic reactions may occur.

If they appear, you must stop taking the drug.

Interaction

The simultaneous use of antacids containing calcium carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide may lead to a decrease in the effectiveness of the drug.

Long-term use may reduce iron absorption.

Overdose

With prolonged use of high doses, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, skin itching, and increased levels of transaminases in the blood are possible.
