Cholensim is a combined preparation of animal origin, which normalizes the process of digestion.

It has a choleretic effect.

Pancreatic enzymes included in the preparation (trypsin and amylase) facilitate digestion of carbohydrates and proteins, which facilitates their fuller absorption in the small intestine.

• chronic hepatitis,

How to take, the dosage

Cholensim is prescribed orally 1 tablet 1-3 times a day after meals.

Interaction

Simultaneous use of antacids containing calcium carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide may reduce the effectiveness of the drug.

Long-term use may decrease iron absorption.

• High sensitivity to the ingredients of the drug,

• acute exacerbation of chronic pancreatitis,

Side effects

The drug is usually well tolerated, but allergic reactions may occur.

If they occur, the drug should be stopped.

Overdose

In prolonged use of high doses, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, skin itching, increased blood levels of transaminases are possible.
