Cholensim is prescribed orally 1 tablet 1-3 times a day after meals.

Interaction

Simultaneous use of antacids containing calcium carbonate and/or magnesium hydroxide may reduce the effectiveness of the drug.

Long-term use may decrease iron absorption.

Contraindications

Side effects

The drug is usually well tolerated, but allergic reactions may occur.

If they occur, the drug should be stopped.

Overdose

In prolonged use of high doses, nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, skin itching, increased blood levels of transaminases are possible.
