Diazinon in the collar has a non-systemic action. Diazinon is released from the surface of the tape, transferred to the skin and hair of the animal and accumulated in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Gradually released to the skin surface together with glandular secretion, diazinon has a contact insectoaricidal and repellent effect on sexually mature and immature phases of fleas, lice, louseflies and mites parasitizing on animals. Diazinon action mechanism is inhibition of cholinesterase activity and stimulation of cholinergic processes in the body of ticks, fleas, lice, etc., resulting in paralysis and death of ectoparasites.

Recommendations for use

After opening the package, unfold the collar and put it on the animal, adjusting it in size so that there is a gap of 1.0–1.5 cm between the animal’s neck and the collar, then secure it with a fastener and cut off the excess tape. It is recommended to put on the collar in advance. The collar is waterproof and the animal can be washed without removing it. Diazinon in the collar has a non-systemic effect.
