🐾 Forresto Flea, Lice and Tick Collar for dogs under 8 kg, 38 cm

Foresto® Collar is a product that helps you protect your dog from tick and flea bites for 240 days. It is recommended to wear it all the time. Simply put the collar on your dog. The product of the German manufacturer Bayer.

Indications

Oxytocin is used in females of farm and domestic animals: for weak labor, retention of placenta, reflex agalactia, mastitis and uterine bleeding.

Active ingredient

Imidacloprid, flumetrin

Composition

The combination of active ingredients (imidacloprid + flumetrin) – developed and patented by Bayer. The active ingredients reinforce each other’s action on ticks, fleas and other external parasites:

– imidacloprid acts on adult fleas, their larvae on the dog and in the environment as well as on lice and louse-eaters;

– flumetrin acts on mites.

Directions for use

After opening the package, unroll the collar, release the plastic bridges and put it on the animal, adjusting the size so that a gap of 2 fingers is left between the neck and the collar, then close the lock by removing the excess length. Continuous use of the collar protects dogs from fleas, lice, and fleas for 6 months and from exodus mites for 7-8 months. The collar is water-resistant and can be kept on when washing and bathing the animal, however, you should avoid long-term, intensive contact with water or excessive use of shampoo as this may shorten the product’s lifespan. If the infestation is severe, it is advisable to wash the animal with an insecticidal shampoo before applying the collar.

Special Instructions

If the pet owner is hypersensitive to the active ingredients and if there are cuts or abrasions on the hands, rubber gloves are recommended. After handling the collar, hands should be thoroughly washed with warm water and soap; gloves should be washed and dried. Animals with Foresto collars should be kept away from infants. The collar bag should be kept in its packaging until the product is used. The used collar and the bag in which it was stored should be discarded in the waste container.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to active ingredients. Do not use the collar on sick and convalescing animals, pregnant and lactating females, and kittens under 10 weeks of age.

Side effects

Occasionally, mild itching and/or redness of the skin in hypersensitive animals may occur during the first few days of use. These symptoms usually disappear within 1 to 2 weeks. In rare cases, it may be advisable to discontinue the collar temporarily until the symptoms disappear.
