Gradually released to the skin surface together with glandular secretion, diazinon has a contact insectoaricidal and repellent effect on sexually mature and immature phases of fleas, lice, louseflies and mites parasitizing on animals. Diazinon action mechanism is inhibition of cholinesterase activity and stimulation of cholinergic processes in the body of ticks, fleas, lice, etc., resulting in paralysis and death of ectoparasites.
