Diazinon in the collar has a non-systemic action. Diazinon is released from the surface of the tape, transferred to the skin and hair of the animal and accumulated in the epidermis, hair follicles and sebaceous glands. Gradually released to the skin surface together with glandular secretion, diazinon has a contact insectoaricidal and repellent effect on sexually mature and immature phases of fleas, lice, louseflies and mites parasitizing on animals. Diazinon action mechanism is inhibition of cholinesterase activity and stimulation of cholinergic processes in the body of ticks, fleas, lice, etc., resulting in paralysis and death of ectoparasites.

Indications

Sulf is used for treatment of dogs and cats with bacterial infections of the respiratory organs, gastrointestinal tract, urogenital system, skin, with pasteurellosis, salmonellosis and other diseases whose pathogens are sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadiazine.

Directions for use

After opening the package, unroll the collar and put it on the animal, adjusting the size so that there is a 1.0-1.5 cm gap between the animal’s neck and the collar, then secure it with the band lock and cut off the excess tape. It is recommended to put the collar on beforehand. The collar is water resistant and the animal may be washed without removing it.
