Description

It combines properties of substances of the group of theophylline and nicotinic acid: expands peripheral vessels, improves collateral circulation, increases oxidative phosphorylation and synthesis of adenosine triphosphate.

Indications

Used in adults with obliterating atherosclerosis of lower limb vessels, Raynaud’s disease, diabetic angiopathy, acute thrombophlebitis of surface and deep veins and postthrombophlebitic syndrome, trophic ulcers of lower limbs, bedsores, migraine, Meniere’s syndrome, dermatosis associated with vascular trophic disorder.

In concomitant use with drugs with hypotensive effect (beta-adrenoblockers, ergot alkaloids, alpha-adrenoblockers, sympatholytics, ganglioblockers), with strophantine a sharp increase in their action is possible.

In the digestive system: rarely – nausea, diarrhea, anorexia, gastralgia; with prolonged use in high doses, increased levels of transaminases and alkaline phosphatase may occur.
Others: weakness, dizziness; with long-term use in high doses, there may be changes in glucose tolerance, increased serum uric acid levels.
