Taurine is an anticataractic agent and has a metabolic effect.
Taurine is a sulfur-containing amino acid formed in the body during the conversion of cysteine. It stimulates the processes of reparation and regeneration in diseases of dystrophic nature and diseases accompanied by acute metabolic disorder of eye tissues.
It promotes normalization of functions of cell membranes, activation of energy and metabolic processes, preservation of the electrolyte composition of the cytoplasm due to the accumulation of potassium and calcium ions and improvement of conditions for conducting the nerve impulse.

How to take, the dosage
In cataracts it is used in the form of instillations 1-2 drops 2-4 times daily for 3 months. The courses are repeated at one-month intervals.
In case of trauma and dystrophic corneal diseases the same doses are used for a month.

Hypersensitivity, children under 18 years of age.
