Sistain Ultra quickly and permanently eliminates the signs of eye irritation such as discomfort, redness, itching, dryness, a feeling of “sand” in the eye, burning.

After the application a thin polymer film is formed on the surface of the eye which moistens and protects the cornea from drying out and infection.

The product does not irritate the eye, distributes evenly over the surface of the cornea or contact lenses and is gradually washed out with the tear fluid while blinking.

Indications

Systane® Ultra ophthalmic product moisturizes, provides comfort and protects the eyes from dryness, irritation, burning sensation, foreign body or gritty sensation caused by dust, smoke, ultraviolet rays, dry heat (radiator, sauna), air conditioning, wind, cosmetics, flicker of a long-running TV or computer monitor.

Pharmacological effect

After instillation of the drug, a thin polymer film is formed on the surface of the eye, which moisturizes and protects the cornea from drying out and infection.

The drug does not irritate the eyes, is evenly distributed over the surface of the cornea or contact lenses, and is gradually washed away when blinking along with the tear fluid.

Special instructions

Do not touch the pipette tip of the vial as this may contaminate the solution.

USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION
The safety and effectiveness of use during pregnancy and lactation have not been studied. It can be used during pregnancy and lactation as prescribed by the attending physician, if the expected effect exceeds the risk of developing possible side effects.

APPLICATION IN PEDIATRICS
Use in children under 18 years of age is not recommended, as the safety and effectiveness of use in children have not been established.

WARNINGS
Follow the recommendations of your ophthalmologist and instructions for use. If you continue to experience discomfort, watery eyes, changes in vision, or red eyes, please consult your doctor.

Composition

Ophthalmic product containing 0.001% Polyquad® (polydronium chloride);

0.4% polyethylene glycol;

0.7% boric acid;

0.12% potassium chloride;

0.1% sodium chloride;

0.3% propylene glycol;

1.4% sorbitol;

hydroxypropyl guar;

0.57% 2-amino-2-methylpropanol.

Contraindications

Do not use the solution in patients with increased individual sensitivity to any of the components of the drug.
