Systein Balance, eye drops 10 ml

The oil-based ophthalmic product moistens the surface of the eye, stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and reduces the evaporation of tear fluid.

Provides temporary relief of dry eye symptoms such as burning sensation and irritation.

Indications

SISTEIN® BALANCE is an oil-based moisturizer used to relieve symptoms of dry eye syndrome caused by increased tear fluid evaporation. (Ideally “caused by increased evaporation of tear fluid as a result of lipid layer destabilization”).

SISTEIN® BALANCE moistens the surface of the eye, replenishes and stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and reduces excessive evaporation of tear fluid. Provides long lasting (or prolonged) temporary relief of dry eye symptoms such as burning and irritation in dry eye syndrome.

Active ingredient

Polyethylene glycol, Propylene glycol, Hydroxypropylguar

Composition

1 ml of ophthalmic solution contains:

• Propylene glycol 6.0 mg.
• Hydroxypropylguar 0.5 mg.
• LIPITECH system:
  • Mineral oil 10 mg.
  • Dimyristoyl phosphatidylglycerol 0.05 mg.
• Polyoxyl 40 stearate 3.8 mg.
• Sorbitan tristearate 2.9 mg.
• Boric acid 10.0 mg.
• Sorbitol 7.0 mg.
• Dinatrium edetate 0.25 mg.
• PLICVAD (polyquaternium-1) 0.01 mg.
• Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide (to adjust the pH).
• Purified water (up to 1 ml).

How to take, the dosage

Shake the bottle before use.

The ophthalmic product can be used as needed throughout the day.

Push 1-2 drops into each eye and blink.

SISTEIN BALANCE Eye Care can be used to manage symptoms of dry eye caused by contact lens wear by putting drops in each eye before and after removing contact lenses.

Special Instructions

Do not touch the pipette tip of the bottle as it may contaminate the solution.

APPLICATION IN MILF & Lactation
Safety and efficacy of use during pregnancy and lactation have not been studied. It is possible to use during pregnancy and lactation by the prescription of the attending physician if the expected effects exceed the risk of possible side effects.

PEDIATRIC APPLICATIONS
Not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age as the safety and effectiveness in children has not been established.
