Sea Buckthorn Fruit and Leaf Oil, 50 ml

Buckthorn oil stimulates reparative processes in skin and mucous membrane lesions of various etiologies.

Indications

• dermatology: burns and radiation lesions of the skin and mucous membranes, stimulation of wound healing;
• tolaryngology: atrophic pharyngitis, laryngitis;
• dentistry: acute and chronic erosive-ulcerative lesions of the oral mucosa, periodontal disease;
• gastroenterology: gastric and duodenal ulcer, hyperacid gastritis, chronic colitis, nonspecific ulcerative colitis (as part of combined therapy);
• gynecology: colpitis, endocervicitis, cervical erosion;
• proctology: hemorrhoids, anal fissures, proctitis;
• prevention and treatment of atherosclerosis, cancer;
• increasing the body’s resistance to harmful environmental factors;
• with impaired vision.
• infectious diseases: influenza (A and B), parainfluenza, SARS (respiratory syncytial, adenovirus and others), angina and rhinitis (against SARS), herpes simplex (acute and recurrent), shingles, chicken pox, CMV infection and other infections.
  

How to take, the dosage

Buckthorn oil is used topically in the form of oil dressings every other day (until granulation appears), having previously cleared the affected area of granulation.

In gynecology it is used as a lubricant or on swabs: in colpitis and endocervicitis the vaginal walls are lubricated by pre-clearing them with cotton balls; in cervical erosions the abundantly moistened swabs (5-10 ml per swab) are pressed tightly on the eroded surface, changing them daily. The course of treatment of colpitis – 10-15 procedures, endocervicitis and erosions – 8-12 procedures. If necessary the course is repeated in 4-6 weeks.

In case of diseases of the oral mucous membrane and periodontal disease, sea buckthorn oil is used in the form of applications or turundas soaked in oil; course of treatment – 10-15 procedures.

Inhalation: 15 minutes daily in case of upper respiratory tract diseases; 8-10 treatments.

Rectally, as microclothes; after emptying the bowels the product is injected deep into the anus.

Buckthorn oil is taken orally, before meals, 1 teaspoon or 2-3 times a day. Children under 6 years – 0.5 g once a day, 6-14 years – 0.5 g 1-2 times a day. The course of treatment – 10-15 days. If necessary, repeat course in 4-6 weeks.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, inflammatory processes in the gall bladder, liver, pancreas, cholelithiasis.

Side effects

Allergic reactions possible.

Bitter in the mouth, possible increased blood clotting with prolonged use (if taken orally), burning sensation (when used externally in burned people).
