Sanorin is a vasoconstrictor.
It induces alpha2-adrenoceptors.
Pharmacodynamics
It causes narrowing of mucosal vessels and reduces swelling, hyperemia, exudation of the mucous membrane of the airways, facilitates nasal breathing.
In long-term use the vasoconstrictor effect gradually decreases, therefore after 5-7 days of treatment it is necessary to take a break for a few days.

Pharmacodynamics
Causes constriction of blood vessels in the mucous membranes and reduces swelling, hyperemia, exudation of the mucous membrane of the respiratory tract, and facilitates nasal breathing.
With prolonged use, the vasoconstrictor effect gradually decreases, and therefore after 5–7 days of treatment you should take a break for several days.
Special instructions
With long-term use, the severity of the vasoconstrictor effect gradually decreases (the phenomenon of tachyphylaxis), and therefore it is recommended to take a break for several days after 5-7 days of use in adults and after 3 days of use in children.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity

Children up to 2 years of age (0.1% emulsion, 0.05 and 0.1% solution), up to 15 years (0.1% solution).
Side Effects
Irritation of the mucous membrane, reactive hyperemia;
with long-term use – swelling of the mucous membrane;
nausea, headache, increased blood pressure, tachycardia (with resorptive effects).
Interaction
Concomitant use with MAO inhibitors and for a period of up to 14 days after the end of their use increases the risk of developing severe arterial hypertension (release of deposited catecholamines under the influence of naphazoline). Slows down the absorption of local anesthetics.
Overdose
Symptoms: hypothermia, bradycardia, hyperhidrosis, drowsiness, coma.
Treatment: symptomatic.
