Papazole, tablets 30 mg+30 mg 10 pcs

Combination drug, has antispasmodic, hypotensive, arteriodilatory action.

Bendazole is an antispasmodic agent of myotropic action; it has hypotensive, vasodilatory effects, stimulates spinal cord function, has moderate immunostimulatory activity.

Papaverine hydrochloride is an antispasmodic agent and has hypotensive effect. It inhibits FDE, causes accumulation of Ca2+, reduces tone and relaxes smooth muscles of internal organs (gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital systems) and blood vessels.

In high doses it reduces excitability of the heart muscle and slows intracardiac conduction. Action on CNS is weak (in high doses it has sedative effect).

Indications

Arterial hypertension (labile), spasm of peripheral arteries and cerebral vessels, spasm of smooth muscles of internal organs (incl.including gastric and duodenal ulcer, pylorus spasm, intestinal colic, cholecystitis, spastic colitis), poliomyelitis (residual effects), peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve.

bendazol hydrochloride (dibazole) – 30 mg,

papaverine hydrochloride – 30 mg;

Associates:

Potato starch – 56 mg,

talc – 3 mg,

stearic acid – 1 mg,

talc,

stearic acid – 1 mg.

How to take, the dosage

At the mouth, 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day for adults.

Interaction

In concomitant use of the drug with antispasmodics, sedatives, diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, procainamide, reserpine, quinidine the severity of the hypotensive effect may be increased.

Papazole attenuates the effect of anticholinesterase drugs on smooth muscles (galantamine, proserine, physiostigmine).

Adsorbents, astringent and enveloping drugs reduce absorption of the drug in the gastrointestinal tract.

Special Instructions

Papazole is used with caution in patients with decreased bowel tone and cardiac conduction disorders.

The intake of alcohol should be avoided during treatment.

Contraindications

With caution

Decreased intestinal peristalsis, CMT, hepatic and/or renal insufficiency, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, prostatic hypertrophy; pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects

Digestive system disorders: nausea, constipation.

CNS disorders: dizziness.

Cardiovascular system: AV-blockade, arrhythmias, decreased myocardial contractility.

Others: allergic reactions, increased sweating.

Pregnancy use

It is contraindicated in children under 1 year of age.

Prescribes with caution during pregnancy and lactation.
