Omron RS2 Automatic Wrist Blood Pressure Tonometer

The pressure sensor is a patented and unique component that is manufactured in Japan. It allows several biological parameters from the human body at the same time, which are taken into account by the Intellisense system when measuring blood pressure.

The patented Intellisense system in the OMRON RS2 helps the tonometer consider the vascular condition of the patient during measurement and calculates BP based on three possible parameters: HR, time and oscillations allowing the patient to have confidence in the accuracy of the result obtained.
Intellisense analyzes and selects what is needed from hundreds of thousands of possible combinations of human blood pressure results.
The tonometer is compatible with the OMRONConnect app for easy storage, viewing and management of personal health data.

Physiological cuff (13.5 – 21.5 cm) allows natural positioning of the device on the hand for maximum accuracy.

An irregular heartbeat can affect the accuracy of measurement results. The irregular heartbeat detection algorithm automatically determines the reliability of the measurement and whether it needs to be repeated. If an irregular heartbeat is detected during the measurement, but the result is reliable, it is displayed on the screen along with the arrhythmia indicator. If an irregular heartbeat results in an unreliable measurement, the results are not displayed. If an arrhythmia indicator appears after the measurement procedure, repeat the measurement. If the arrhythmia indicator appears frequently, notify your doctor.

The High Pressure Indicator will flash on the screen if your systolic or diastolic blood pressure is out of normal range. If the icon is blinking regularly, you should consult a physician.
The excessively loose cuff indicator indicates that the cuff is not properly secured to the wrist.
The Tonometer Cuff Correctly Secured to Wrist Indicator appears when the cuff is properly secured to the wrist during measurement. It also appears when viewing previous measurements.

Special Instructions
