Microlife Tonometer BP A100 Automatic without Adapter Cuff 22-32 cm

The Microlife BP A100 is one of the classic Microlife blood pressure monitors. The bright design and obvious simplicity of functionality make this tonometer easy to use. Combining ruggedness, reliability and technology, the A100 tonometer features a high level of comfort.

Directions for use

To get reliable measurements
1. Avoid physical activity and do not eat or smoke
immediately before the measurement.
2. Sit in a chair with a backrest for five minutes and relax. Place your feet flat on the floor and do not cross them.
3. Always measure on the same hand
(usually the left hand).
4. Remove tight clothing from your shoulder. Do not roll up your shirt sleeve, this can cause pinching, thin fabric sleeves do not interfere with the measurement if they fit loosely.
5. Make sure to use the correct
size cuff.
– Put the cuff on tightly, but not too tightly.
– Make sure that the cuff is 2 cm above the elbow.
– The artery mark on the cuff (a line about 3 cm long) should be over the artery on the inside
of the arm.
– Position the arm so that it remains relaxed.
– Make sure that the cuff is at the same height as
the heart.
6. Press the ON/OFF button to start the measurement.
7. The cuff will now be automatically inflated. Relax, do not move or strain your arm until the measurement result is displayed. Breathe normally and do not talk.
8. If the measurement is successfully completed, inflation stops and the pressure is gradually released. If the desired pressure is not reached, the device automatically performs an additional inflation of the cuff. 9. During the measurement, the heart icon flashes on the display and a beep sounds with each heartbeat.
10. Then the result consisting of systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate is displayed and a long beep sounds.
11. When the measurement is completed, remove the cuff and put it in
the device.
12. Turn off the device by pressing button 1 (The tonometer will automatically turn off after approximately 1 minute).

You can stop the measurement at any time
by pressing the ON/OFF button (for example, if you experience discomfort or discomfort with the
pressure).
