Special Instructions

How to get reliable readings

• The device is not intended to monitor heart rate for people who have a pacemaker.
• Consult your physician if you use this device while pregnant, have arrhythmias or atherosclerosis, as these factors may affect the results.
• Avoid eating, drinking, smoking, exercising, or taking a bath (shower) before taking a reading.
• Do not change the dose of the medicine you are taking, as prescribed by your doctor.
• Store the device in a dark, dry place at a temperature between 20° and 60°C.
• Unplug the batteries if you do not intend to use it for an extended period (3 months or more).

Recommendations for use

• Measure your blood pressure at least twice a day (morning before breakfast and evening after work.)
• Do not measure your blood pressure while in a moving vehicle.
• Always measure your blood pressure on the same arm (e.g. left arm).
• Wrap cuff securely around arm before measurement.

Cautions

• Operating Temperature range: 10° to 40°C.
• Do not expose to excessive vibration, shock, electrical noise, corrosive liquid or gaseous environment, etc.
• Avoid direct sunlight when measuring blood pressure. Do not place the cuff on any objects other than your hand
• Keep mobile and radio phones at least 5 meters away during measurement.
• Do not roll the cuff and air tube into a tight roll or bend them.
• Do not drop the device.
