Description

In the treatment of coronary heart disease (angina, myocardial infarction); chronic heart failure and cardiomyopathy against dyshormonal disorders, as well as in the treatment of acute and chronic blood circulation disorders of the brain (stroke and cerebrovascular insufficiency).

How to take, the dosage

Because of its possible excitatory effect, it is recommended to use the drug in the morning.

The drug is administered intramuscularly, intravenously and parabulbarously.

Interaction

Can be combined with antianginal agents, anticoagulants, antiaggregants, antiarrhythmic agents, diuretics, bronchodilators.

Special Instructions

Many years of experience in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction and unstable angina in cardiology departments show that meldonium is not a first-line drug for acute coronary syndrome and its use is not acutely necessary.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug components, increased intracranial pressure (with impaired venous outflow, intracranial tumors), age under 18 years (effectiveness and safety has not been established), pregnancy, breast-feeding.

Overdose

Symptoms: decreased blood pressure, accompanied by headache, tachycardia, dizziness and general weakness.
