Description

Combination drug for the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the throat and oral cavity.

The drug contains the antimicrobial agent Gramicidin C and the antiseptic agent – cetylpyridinium chloride. The mechanism of action of Gramicidin C is connected with increase of permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of the microbial cell, which breaks its resistance and causes its death.

Gramicidin C has antibacterial action against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms. Cetylpyridinium chloride refers to antiseptic agents, suppresses the growth and reproduction of pathogens of infectious diseases of the mouth and throat. The drug has an antimicrobial effect, reduces inflammation, soothes discomfort in the throat and facilitates swallowing.

Pharmacokinetics
Topical action drug. According to preclinical pharmacokinetic studies there is practically no absorption.

How to take, the dosage

Topically, by spraying on the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat. It is used after meals.

Dosage for adults: 4 injections per application, 3 times a day for 7 days. Immediately after using the drug, you should refrain from eating or drinking for 1 hour.

If after treatment, there is no improvement or if symptoms worsen or new symptoms develop, you should consult a physician.

To use the drug only according to the indication, route of administration, and dosage listed in the directions.

-High sensitivity to Gramicidin C, Cetylpyridinium Chloride and other components of the drug;
