• Acute period of trauma with predominantly brain stem level lesions (impaired consciousness, coma, focal hemispheric symptoms, symptoms of brain stem damageAcute period of a traumatic brain injury with predominantly trunk level lesions (impaired consciousness, coma, focal hemispheric symptoms, symptoms of brainstem lesions);
• ischemic (acute and recovery period) and hemorrhagic stroke (recovery period);
• degenerative and involutionary psychoorganic syndromes and consequences of cerebrovascular failure, such as primary and secondary disorders of mnemonic functions, characterized by memory disturbances, confusion, disorientation, decreased motivation, initiative, ability to concentrate;
• changes in the emotional and behavioral sphere: emotional lability, increased irritability, decreased interest, senile pseudo-melancholy;
• multiple dementia.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion, before meals.

In chronic cerebrovascular failure, emotional and behavioral changes and multi-infarct dementia: orally – 400 mg (1 capsule) 3 times a day.

The duration of therapy is 3-6 months.

Drug interactions of the drug Gliatilin have not been established.

Special Instructions

In experimental studies no mutagenic effect of the drug was found.

Impact on the ability to drive and operate machinery Gliatilin does not affect the patient’s ability to engage in potentially dangerous activities.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug.

Side effects

Nausea (as a consequence of dopaminergic activation), in which case the drug dose should be reduced.

Possible allergic reactions.

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea.
