Pharm action:
Diazolin® refers to antihistamine drugs and is a blocker of H1-histamine receptors. Diazolin® attenuates the spasmogenic effect of histamine on the smooth muscles of the bronchi, intestines, as well as its effect on vascular permeability.
As it passes through the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in small amounts, it does not have strong sedative and hypnotic effects.

How to take, the dosage
Diasolin is prescribed orally after meals.
Adults and children from 12 years to 005-01 g 1-2 times a day children from 3 years to 005 g 1 – 2 times a day from 5 years to 005 g 2 – 3 times a day. The highest dose for adults: single – 03 g daily – 06 g. The course of treatment is prescribed by a doctor and determined by the nature of the disease and the therapeutic effect achieved.
Interaction
Potentiates the effect of alcohol and medications that depress the central nervous system.

Special Instructions
It is ineffective in bronchial asthma and anaphylactic shock.
Contraindications

Side effects

Overdose

Treatment: no specific antidote. Induction of vomiting gastric lavage. Symptomatic therapy includes drugs that increase arterial pressure oxygen administration of intravenous plasma exchange fluids. Close monitoring of breathing and blood pressure levels. Adrenaline and analeptics should not be used.
