Dexpanthenol is a derivative of pantothenic acid. Dexpanthenol is converted in the body into pantothenic acid, which is part of coenzyme A and is involved in the processes of acetylation in the synthesis of acetylcholine, corticosteroids porphyrins.

Pharmacokinetics:

When applied topically, it is rapidly absorbed by the skin and converted to pantothenic acid binds to plasma proteins (mainly beta globulin and albumin). Indications

Pharmacological effect

Recommendations for use

Externally. Apply a thin layer of ointment 1-2 times a day to the affected surface and rub in lightly.

When caring for the mammary gland, ointment is applied to the surface of the nipple after each breastfeeding.

When caring for infants, the ointment is applied after each change of linen or water procedure.
