Causes muscle relaxation, increases blood flow, facilitates removal of irritating metabolic products (primarily lactic acid), and also increases the duration of exercise due to the warming effect and improves their portability.
Racetentol
The irritating effect of Racetentol helps reduce pain sensations. Its local action is accompanied by vasodilatation, causing a sensation of cooling that turns into a mild burning and tingling sensation followed by an analgesic effect.
Methyl salicylate
Methyl salicylate is an anti-inflammatory analgesic. Non-selective inhibits cyclooxygenase, reducing the synthesis of prostaglandins. Normalizes increased capillary permeability, improves microcirculation, reduces swelling and infiltration of inflamed tissues.
Indications
Sciatica, Neck pain, Back pain, Myalgia (muscle pain), Joint pain (arthralgia), Muscle pain (myalgia), Lumbago
– to reduce pain and stiffness in joints and muscles in case of injuries, sprains and inflammation
– to reduce lower back pain

How to take, the dosage
Externally. Apply a thin layer of cream directly on the painful area and gently rub in until completely absorbed. If necessary, the procedure is repeated every few hours (up to 3-4 times a day) for 10 days.
Interaction
The drug causes skin flushing and reflexively increases blood circulation in the subcutaneous tissue, thus, combined use with other drugs of local action may lead to increased absorption.
In patients sensitive to acetylsalicylic acid, with external use of methylsalicylate skin allergic reactions and angioedema were observed.
When combined use with acetylsalicylic acid toxic effects of salicylates may be observed.
In patients using anticoagulants, such as warfarin, bleeding may occur because this drug contains salicylate.
Special Instructions
For external use only.
Do not use with occlusive dressings, warming compresses. Discontinue use if skin irritation occurs. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes and areas of skin irritation. If the pain persists for 10 days or more, and the cream does not relieve the condition, you should see a doctor.
Cross-allergy to other salicylates is possible.
Do not use in children under 12 years of age!
If the medication has expired or is out of date, do not throw it in the sewage or outdoors! Place the medication in a bag and put it in the trash. These measures will help protect the environment!

Side effects
Very common (≥1/10), common (≥1/100, < 1/10), infrequent (≥1/1000, < 1/100), rare (≥1/10000, < 1/1000), very rare (< 1/10000).
Postmarketing data:
Immune system disorders: angioedema (very rare).
Respiratory system, thoracic and mediastinal disorders: dyspnea in the context of hypersensitivity (very rare).
General disorders and disorders at the site of administration: site reactions (including blistering, burning, hyperemia, erythema, irritation, pain, paresthesia, urticaria, itching and rash) (very rare).
Injuries, intoxications and complications of manipulation: burns at the site of application (very rare).
Overdose
Overdose with ratsentol and methylsalicylate has been observed in isolated cases, mainly in children, when accidental ingestion of drugs containing these substances.
Overdose when used topically occurs rarely and only when the drug is used incorrectly (application to mucous membranes, to large areas of damaged or infected skin). Symptoms of methylsalicylate overdose: agitation, increased respiratory depth, hyperpyrexia.
Symptoms of razenthol overdose: nausea, abdominal pain, vomiting and symptoms of central nervous system depression such as dizziness, unsteady gait, blood “rushes” to the face, drowsiness, respiratory depression and coma.
Treatment: symptomatic and supportive; correction of electrolyte and water balance, administration of adsorbents and saline laxatives, forced diuresis, external body cooling; in severe cases – blood transfusion, hemodialysis.
Pregnancy use
When entering the systemic bloodstream, salicylates penetrate through the placental barrier and into the milk of lactating women and may adversely affect the fetus, especially in the third trimester of pregnancy (e.g., cause premature closure of the arterial duct or prolonged labor).
Although topical administration of methylsalicylates is not expected to increase their plasma concentrations to levels harmful to the fetus, the expected benefits of therapy with the drug for the mother and the potential risk to the fetus and child should be assessed when deciding whether to prescribe the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
