Due to possible side effects (dizziness, drowsiness), during treatment with the drug, caution should be exercised when driving vehicles, operating machinery, or engaging in potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions.

Active ingredient

Levomenthol solution in menthyl isovalerate

Composition

1 caps. levomenthol solution in menthyl isovalerate 100 mg

Excipients:

α-tocopherol acetate (vit.­E) – 0.45 mg,

Refined olive oil – q.s. up to 160 mg.

Composition of the capsule shell:

gelatin – 72 mg,

purified water – 56.2384 mg,

glycerol – 31.5216 mg,

methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) – 0.24 mg.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, acute myocardial infarction, acute cerebrovascular accidents, severe arterial hypotension, children under 18 years of age (efficacy and safety have not been established).

Side Effects

Nausea, a feeling of discomfort in the abdomen, lacrimation, dizziness, and a short-term decrease in blood pressure and drowsiness are also possible. The described phenomena are usually short-term, go away on their own and do not require discontinuation of the drug.

In rare cases, allergic reactions may develop (skin rash, itching, angioedema).

If any of the side effects indicated in the instructions get worse, or you notice any other side effects not listed in the instructions, tell your doctor.

Interaction

The drug can be used in combination with medications that improve metabolic processes (vitamins, potassium and magnesium aspartate, inosine, etc.).

When used simultaneously, it may enhance the effect of antihypertensive drugs, the sedative effect of psychotropic drugs, opioid analgesics, general and local anesthesia, ethanol.

Simultaneous use with nitrates helps reduce headaches that occur when using them

Overdose

Symptoms: nausea, headache, sharp decrease in blood pressure, depression of the central nervous system, cardiac dysfunction, increased excitability.

Treatment: drug withdrawal, symptomatic therapy.
