Composition

1 ml of the drug contains:

the active ingredient – nikethamide 250.0 mg;

the excipient – water for injection to 1.0 ml.

How to take, the dosage

The drug is administered intravenously, intramuscularly and subcutaneously.

Interaction

Convulsive effect of cordiamine is increased by reserpine, excitatory effect in relation to the respiratory center is eliminated by anesthetics, the effect of the drug is weakened by PASC and saluside, the analeptic effect and convulsive effect are weakened by aminazine and other phenothiazine derivatives.

Special Instructions

An overdose of nikethamide may cause seizures.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the drug;

Low seizure threshold, seizures (including history of seizures);

Hyperthermia in children;

Pregnancy, lactation.

Side effects

The following is an example of the use of this drug in the treatment of the patient’s condition: vomiting.
