Indications

Special instructions

The drug should be used with caution in pregnant and lactating women, in patients with liver and/or kidney diseases, as well as in patients suspected of having inflammatory bowel diseases.
You should not use the drug for more than 7 days without special instructions from your doctor.

Composition

1 film-coated tablet contains:
active ingredient: bisacodyl 5 mg.

Contraindications

hypersensitivity to the drug Bisacodyl,
intestinal obstruction,
strangulated hernia,
acute inflammatory diseases of the abdominal organs,
peritonitis,
bleeding from the gastrointestinal tract,
uterine bleeding,
spastic constipation,
acute proctitis,
acute hemorrhoids,
colon carcinoma.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions are possible.

From the gastrointestinal tract, cramping abdominal pain and diarrhea are possible, which can lead to dehydration and electrolyte imbalance.

The use of high doses or long-term use of bisacodyl can lead to the development of intestinal atony.
