Allantoin has a mild keratolytic and keratoplastic effect on the skin, helping to soften and repair it. When in contact with the skin it has a protective effect, which is especially important for animals with sensitive or allergic skin. D-panthenol (provitamin B5) restores skin structure when its integrity is damaged (due to cracking, dermatitis, burns, etc.), protects it from drying out and peeling. Active components of the product provide normalization of water and lipid balance of skin and deep moisturizing of animals’ hair coat. When applied to the skin and coat of an animal the product has a short-term contact action against microorganisms in places of their localization. When applied externally the drug is practically not absorbed through the skin and has no systemic action. According to the degree of effect on the body the drug is low-hazardous substances (Hazard Class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), when applied to the skin in the recommended doses, it has no local irritating and sensitizing effect.
