D-Glucosamine hydrochloride is a vital substance for the synthesis of collagen, prostaglandin and hyaluronic acid, it is well absorbed in the digestive tract and rapidly transformed in the joints.

Chondroitin sulfate, which consists of the disaccharide residues D-glucuronic acid and glucosamine glucan (2-acetamido-2-deoxy-b-D-galactopyranose or N-acetylchondrosamine) is produced from shark cartilage. 

Chondroitin complements the action of glucosamine, promotes active cartilage regeneration, is a chondroprotective agent, tissue regeneration stimulator, contributes to the protection and synthesis of collagen, which is the structural base of all connective tissue structures. 

It is a stimulator of tissue regeneration, promotes water retention and restoration of cushioning functions in cartilage tissues. Chondroitin sulfate penetrates the matrix structures of cartilage tissue and thus has a direct effect on metabolic processes. 

It improves phosphorus-calcium metabolism in cartilage tissue, accelerates processes of cartilage repair, inhibits processes of cartilage tissue degeneration, inhibits enzymes that cause cartilage tissue damage, stimulates synthesis of glucosaminoglycans, promotes regeneration of articular bag and joint cartilage surfaces and increases production of intraarticular fluid. 

Limits pain and increases mobility of affected joints, improves the condition of hyaline tissue of articular surfaces.

Methylsulfonyl methane (MSM) is an organic product containing sulfur. It is odorless, tasteless and water soluble. Methylsulfonylmethane is an important bioavailable (85%) source of dietary sulfur. Sulfur catalyzes chemical reactions that turn food into energy and helps neutralize and eliminate toxins from the body. 

The anti-inflammatory properties are due to the ability of MSM to inhibit enzymes that mediate inflammatory reactions. The level of MSM in the body decreases with age. Studies have shown that in almost every animal there is a sulfur deficiency which is used up in the body within a few weeks. 

The most effective and convenient way to prevent sulfur deficiency in the diet, along with the consumption of fresh foods containing it, is the use of methylsulfonylmethane in the form of a dietary supplement.

Vitamin C powder (Ester C®) is a new proprietary pH neutral form of vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate; it contains natural vitamin C metabolites which activate vitamin C molecules and stimulate their penetration into cells. Ester C is completely and quickly assimilated, remaining active in the body (and in white blood cells) for 24 hours. 

Even with prolonged use, it does not irritate the gastric mucosa and has no negative effect on dental enamel. Enhances the penetration of glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM in the articular cartilage. The antioxidant effect of vitamin Ester C® is also important.

Boswellia extract (Boswellia serrata) is a natural anti-inflammatory and pain reliever for the joints, especially in cases of inflammation; it restores microcirculation to the damaged tissue. The active substances of boswellia (acetyl-boswellic acid) act similarly to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, but without side effects.

Composition

1 tablet (1.6 g) contains:
D-Glucosamine hydrochloride 300 mg,
Shark cartilage chondroitin 66 mg,
Methyl-sulfonyl-methane 320 mg,
Vitamin Ester C 80 mg,
Boswellia extract PE65% 20 mg.

Directions for use

For preventive purposes for dogs – 1 tablet per 10 kg of weight per day. For dogs weighing up to 10 kg – 1 tablet, 10-20 kg – 2 tablets, 20-30 kg – 3 tablets, 30-40 kg – 4 tablets, over 40 kg – 5 tablets a day. The recommended duration of use is 45-60 days.

In chronic arthritis it is recommended to use for 3-4 months, doubling the dose during the first 7 days.
