D-glucosamine hydrochloride – provides the joints with the substances necessary for their renewal. Glucosamine is vital for the synthesis of collagen, prostaglandin and hyaluronic acid; it is absorbed well in the digestive tract and rapidly transformed in the joints.

Chondroitin – complements the action of glucosamine, hydrates joint tissues and is one of the main components ensuring elasticity of cartilage; it restores the structure of cartilage and connective tissue in cases of damage (arthritis, osteoarthritis, etc.) and prevents the deterioration of cartilage.

Methylsulfonyl methane (MSM) is a unique new form of naturally occurring organic sulfur. MSM contains 34% sulfur with a bioavailability of 85%. MSM reduces inflammatory reactions, joint and muscle pain in arthritis, myositis, bursitis, tendovaginitis.

Vitamin Ester-C is a new proprietary form of vitamin C in the form of calcium ascorbate. Even with long-term use, it does not irritate the mucosa of the stomach and has no adverse effect on tooth enamel. Ester C promotes the action of other ingredients by increasing the penetration of glucosamine, chondroitin and methylsulfonylmethane into the articular cartilage. 

Ester C is four times more effective than traditional forms of vitamin C. The antioxidant effect of vitamin Ester C is important.

Boswellia extract (Boswellia serrata) is a natural anti-inflammatory and pain reliever for the joints, especially when they are inflamed (it blocks the synthesis of leukotrienes); it strengthens and renews blood vessels, helping to restore microcirculation in areas of tissue damage and restores joint tissue. 

The active substances in Boswellia (acetyl boswellic acid) work similarly to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, but without side effects.

Composition

The liver-flavored tablets contain glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin, methyl-sulfonyl-methane (MSM), Vitamin Ester C, Boswellia extract.

Directions for use

Activet 20 for large breeds: 1 tablet/ 10 kg/day;

Activet 20 for large breeds: 1 tablet/ 20 kg/day.

The course of at least 45-60 days. In the first 7 days it is desirable to double the dose.
