🐾 Lactobifadol probiotic powder for dogs, 50 g

The bifidobacteria and lactobacilli in the composition of the drug:

– belong to the predominant species in animals;

– have high antagonistic activity against pathogenic microflora;

– are specially adapted to rapid multiplication in the intestine.

In contrast to medical and some veterinary probiotics they do not use bifidobacteria of the type B.bifidum which are characteristic mainly for humans. Bifidobacteria in the drug are resistant to kanamycin, monomycin, gentamicin, oxacillin, polymyxin, streptomycin, levomycetin and others; lactobacilli are resistant to penicillin, ampicillin, monomycin, nystatin, furazolidone and others. Lactobifadol with dietary fiber bran can be administered without waiting for the end of the course of antibiotic therapy or other drugs that negatively affect the microbiocenosis. Provides colonization of the intestinal tract with normal microflora, preventing the development of putrefactive, conditionally pathogenic and pathogenic bacteria (escherichia, salmonella, staphylococcus, protozoa, etc.) and fungi. Helps restore normal microbiocenosis of the skin and open cavities, including the urogenital system. Restores appetite, digestion after illness, antibiotics and other drugs. Composition

Lactobifadol contains live microorganisms – representatives of the normal intestinal flora of animals: lactobacilli (at least 1 million / g) and bifidobacteria (at least 80 million / g), as well as vitamins, minerals, essential and organic acids and other biologically active substances.

Directions for use

The drug is used at the rate of 0.2 g per 1 kg of weight. Daily dose for animals up to 1 kg – several teaspoons, up to 10 kg – up to quarter of teaspoon, from 10 to 20 kg – up to half, larger animals – up to full teaspoon (a full teaspoon contains 9 g of lactobifadol). The dose is adjusted individually, starting with a small amount bring it to the optimum within a week. The drug is given with food or water 1-2 times daily. The course of treatment – until stable clinical effect. For preventive purposes – at least 10-15 days, better constantly.

To prevent the death of bacteria and loss of activity of the drug, do not add it to hot feed.

Contraindications

Individual hypersensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug. No contraindications identified.

Side effects

Lactobifadol does not cause side effects, including when doses are used in excess of those recommended.
