🐾 Forresto Flea, Lice and Tick Collar for dogs under 8 kg, 38 cm

Foresto® Collar is a product that helps you protect your dog from tick and flea bites for 240 days. It is recommended to wear it all the time. Simply put the collar on your dog. The product of the German manufacturer Bayer.

Recommendations for use

A 38 cm long collar contains 1.25 g of imidacloprid and 0.56 g of flumethrin. Foresto® is an external drug.
It is recommended to put the collar on the animal before the start of the flea and tick season. Continuous use of the drug provides protection for up to 8 months. Violations of the drug use regimen may lead to a decrease in its effectiveness.

After opening the package, the collar is unfolded from the inside, the plastic jumpers are removed and put on the animal, adjusted in size so that there is a gap of 1.0 – 1.5 cm between the animal’s neck and the collar. Then the free end is passed through the remaining loops, the excess collar is cut off, leaving about 2 cm.

If desired, you can attach reflective clips that help you observe the animal in the dark.

Side Effects

As a rule, no side effects or complications are observed when using the drug Foresto® in accordance with the instructions. In rare cases, individual reactions are possible at the site of contact of the drug with the skin (redness of the skin, itching, hair loss), which resolve spontaneously and do not require the use of medications.

The collar should not be used on animals suffering from infectious diseases or convalescing, as well as puppies under 7 weeks of age.
