EnteroZoo is a polymeric gel-like organosilicon compound with a porous structure.
EnteroZoo has pronounced sorption and detoxification properties. In the lumen of gastrointestinal tract the preparation binds and removes from the body endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of various nature, including bacteria and bacterial toxins, mycotoxins, antigens, food allergens and poisons, salts of heavy metals and radionuclides. The preparation also sorbs some metabolic products of the body, including excessive bilirubin, urea, cholesterol, lipid complexes, and metabolites responsible for the development of endogenous toxicosis.
EnteroZoo does not reduce absorption of vitamins and microelements, promotes the restoration of disturbed intestinal microflora and does not affect its motility.
Pharmacokinetics: The drug is not absorbed in the gastrointestinal tract, excreted unchanged.
Indications
- Acute poisoning, including feed poisoning with symptoms of acute diarrhea.
- Severe poisoning and intoxication with symptoms of prolonged diarrhea caused by salts of heavy metals, pesticides, etc.
- Feeding toxicoinfections, including mycotoxin lesions.
- intestinal infections of various etiologies; bacterial, viral (including rotaviruses), fungal, caused by protozoa with symptoms of acute and chronic diarrhea.
- Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (enteritis, colitis, pancreatitis, cholecystitis, etc.).
- Chronic liver and kidney diseases, accompanied by insufficiency.
- Allergic diseases.
- Skin diseases.
EnteroZoo can also be used by healthy animals for preventive purposes. The preparation improves resistance to diseases and general condition of the animal’s organism.

Composition
EnteroZoo – suspension for oral administration contains in 100 g of the drug: polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate – 60 g, purified water – 40 g.
How to take, the dosage
EnteroZoo is recommended to use at the first signs of illness or poisoning in the animal. The drug is odorless and tasteless, so animals accept it well.
It is administered in different ways: directly orally, together with food, mixed with water in the oral cavity or through a feeding pump, probe, syringe, etc.
The dose for each specific type of animal is set depending on its species, sex, age and physiological condition. For ease of measurement the dosages are given in tablespoons and teaspoons.
Approximate equivalent: 1 teaspoon equals 5 g; 1 tablespoon equals 15 g.
Standard dosage
Dogs and puppies:
Up to 4 kg – 1 teaspoon 2 times a day;
Up to 15 kg – 2 teaspoons 2 times a day;
15-50 kg – 3 teaspoons 2 times a day;
Over 50 kg – 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon 2 times a day.
The drug is injected directly into the oral cavity, mixed with food or smeared on a treat, mixed with a small amount of water and injected into the oral cavity with a plastic syringe.
Cats and kittens:
up to 2 kg – 1 teaspoon 2 times a day;
over 2 kg – 2 teaspoons 2 times a day, inject directly into the oral cavity, mixed with food or smeared on a treat, mixed with a little water and injected into the oral cavity with the plastic syringe.
Rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, nutrias: 1 teaspoon 2 times daily, mixed with water in a drinker or introduced into the oral cavity with a plastic syringe, previously mixed with a little water.
Hamsters, mice, rats: 1/2 teaspoon 2 times daily, mixed with water in a drinker or introduced into the oral cavity with a plastic syringe, previously mixed with a little water.
Exotic birds: 1 teaspoon 2 times daily, mixed with water in a drinker, or administer directly into the oral cavity mixed with a little water.
Acute poisoning, with symptoms of acute diarrhea
First dose – 2 standard doses, then 1 standard dose after each bowel emptying. After diarrhea has been eliminated it is recommended to administer EnteroZoo for the next 5 days in compliance with the standard dose by type and weight of the animal.
Severe poisonings and intoxications with symptoms of continuous diarrhea.
First dose – 2 standard doses, then 1 standard dose every hour during 24 hours until symptoms of poisoning have completely disappeared.
The use of EnteroZoo does not exclude the possibility of its use with basic medicines, depending on the severity and specificity (etiology) of the poisoning.
Duration of treatment may be up to 10-14 days.
Prophylactic detoxification
One standard dose two times a day for 10-14 days.
Recommendations for the duration of treatment:
In case of acute poisoning it is recommended to give EnteroZoo during 3-5 days.
In case of acute poisoning (including food poisoning) accompanied by allergic reactions, gastrointestinal diseases, intestinal infections of various etiologies, chronic liver and kidney diseases, allergic and skin diseases the recommended duration of EnteroZoo treatment is 2-3 weeks according to the scheme prescribed by a veterinarian.

Side effects
No adverse reactions were observed.
EnteroZoo can be used in pregnant and lactating animals.
No cases of overdose were observed. Animals, including young animals, tolerate EnteroZoo well even in high doses.
