How to take, the dosage
Ingestion, with a small amount of water.
Adults and children over 3 years: in enterobiasis – 100 mg once a day and mixed helminth infections – 100 mg in the morning and evening for 3 days. If the symptoms persist, it is recommended to repeat the course of treatment in 3 weeks.
Adults and children over 14 years old: in case of echinococcosis during the first 3 days – 500 mg 2 times a day, the dose is increased up to 500 mg 3 times a day during the next 3 days; after that the dose is increased up to 1000-1500 mg 3 times a day.
The average duration of treatment of echinococcosis caused by Echinococcus granulosus is 4-6 weeks; with Echinococcus multilocularis – up to two years. In case of trichoenellosis on the 1st day – 200-300 mg 3 times a day, on the 2nd day – 200-300 mg 4 times a day, and from the 3rd to the 14th day – 500 mg 3 times a day.
The simultaneous treatment of all family members is recommended. In case of ascariasis, trichocephaliasis, ankylostomiasis, teniasis, strongyloidiasis and mixed helminthiasis – 100 mg in the morning and evening for 3 days.
Interaction
Limits insulin requirements in diabetic patients. Co-prescribing with lipophilic agents should be avoided.
Cimetidine may increase blood concentrations, carbamazepine and other metabolic inducers decrease the blood concentration of Vermox.

Dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain.
When used in high doses for a long time: vomiting, diarrhea, headache, allergic reactions (skin rash, urticaria, angioedema), increased liver transaminase activity, hypercreatininemia, leukopenia, anemia, eosinophilia, hair loss, hematuria, cylinduria.

Overdose
Symptoms: abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
When used in high doses for a long time: reversible liver dysfunction, hepatitis, neutropenia.
Treatment: it is necessary to remove the drug from the stomach by inducing vomiting or gastric lavage, taking activated charcoal.
Pregnancy use
The drug is contraindicated in pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
