Pharmacological properties
. Reduces capillary permeability, has venotonic, anti-edema, anti-inflammatory and angioprotective effect.
Prevents the activation of lysosomal enzymes that break down proteoglycan, increases the tone of the venous wall, eliminates venous congestion, decreases capillary permeability and
fragility. Reduces exudation, reduces fluid effusion into the tissues and accelerates the resorption of existing edema. Inhibits inflammation, improves microcirculation, promotes repair of organs and tissues.

Horse chestnut seed extract dry contains a large number of biologically active substances that together determine its pharmacological activity. Therefore the data on the pharmacokinetics of individual chemical components included in the extract are not sufficient for extrapolation to the drug as a whole.< br>

Indications

Chronic venous insufficiency class I – III according to the CEAP classification: varicose veins, swelling, cramps in the calf muscles, feeling of heaviness in the legs.

Special instructions

It is necessary to strictly follow all additional doctor’s instructions, such as: bandaging feet, wearing elastic stockings, cold foot baths. All regulations must be strictly observed!
If you have a history of thrombophlebitis, heart or kidney failure, you should consult your doctor.
If severe symptoms suddenly appear (especially in one leg), such as severe swelling, changes in skin color, a feeling of tension, heat, pain, you should immediately consult a doctor, as these may be symptoms of a serious illness – thrombosis of the veins of the lower extremities.
If symptoms of the disease persist or the condition worsens while using the drug for 6 weeks, you should inform your doctor.

Impact on the ability to drive vehicles and machinery
During the period of use of the drug, care should be taken when performing potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration and speed of psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, working with moving mechanisms, working as a dispatcher, operator).

Pregnancy

Due to the lack of sufficient clinical data, the use of the drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to horse chestnut seed extract or any of the components of the drug. Children’s age (up to 18 years).

Side Effects

Allergic reactions (feeling of heat, urticaria, skin rash, itching, anaphylactic shock), dyspepsia (including nausea), dizziness, headache.
If you observe any adverse events when using the drug, please inform your doctor.

Interaction

Simultaneous use with indirect anticoagulants is not recommended, since Venoplant enhances their effects.

Overdose

Cases of drug overdose have not been reported to date.
In case of overdose, you should consult a doctor.
