Solvent: 0.9% sodium chloride solution – 2 ml.
How to take, the dosage
The vaccine is administered strictly intradermally according to the accepted vaccination schedule.
Special Instructions
When immunosuppressants and radiation therapy are used, vaccination is carried out in 6 months after the end of treatment.
After an acute illness or remission of chronic disease, revaccination is carried out in 1 month.
In contact with infectious patients in the family, children’s institutions vaccination is carried out at the end of the quarantine period or the maximum period of incubation for this disease.
Other preventive vaccinations can be carried out with an interval of at least 1 month before and after BCG revaccination.
Persons temporarily exempt from vaccination should be taken under observation and registration and vaccinated after full recovery or removal of contraindications. If necessary, appropriate clinical and laboratory examinations are performed.
Contraindications
Immunization
1. prematurity – birth weight less than 2500 g.
2. intrauterine hypotrophy of III-IV degree.
3. acute diseases. The vaccination is postponed until the acute manifestations of the disease are over and until the exacerbation of chronic diseases (intrauterine infection, purulent-septic diseases, moderate and severe hemolytic neonatal disease, severe lesions of the nervous system with expressed neurological symptoms, generalized skin lesions, etc).Immunodeficiency state (primary), malignant neoplasms.
If immunosuppressants and radiotherapy are prescribed, vaccination should be carried out not earlier than 6 months after the end of treatment.
5. Generalized BCG infection detected in other children in the family.
Side effects
Rarely: local allergic reactions.
In case of violation of the technique of vaccine administration (subcutaneous injection) a cold abscess can form.
