Tocopherol acetate replenishes vitamin E deficiency.

It has antioxidant activity.

Participates in the processes of tissue metabolism, prevents hemolysis of red blood cells, prevents an increase in capillary permeability and fragility, disorders of the seminal tubules and testicles and placenta, and normalizes reproduction.

Inhibits the development of atherosclerosis, degenerative-dystrophic changes in the heart muscle and skeletal muscle.

Composition

1 capsule contains:

Active ingredients:

Vitamin E (tocopherol acetate) 100 mg.

Excipients:

Sunflower oil – 100 mg.

Contents of the capsule shell:

gelatin – 44.73 mg, glycerol – 14.67 mg, methyl parahydroxybenzoate – 0.29 mg, azorubin dye – 0.31 mg.

How to take, the dosage

Ingestion 100-300 mg per day, if necessary up to 1 g per day.

In diseases of the neuromuscular system 100 mg per day for 1-2 months. The courses are repeated in 2-3 months.

In case of spermatogenesis and potency disorders it is taken in 100-300 mg per day in combination with hormonal therapy for a month.

In case of threatened abortion – 100 mg daily for 7-14 days, in case of habitual abortion and impaired intrauterine development of the fetus – 100 mg daily for the first 2-3 months of pregnancy daily or every other day.

In case of peripheral vascular diseases, myocardiodystrophy, atherosclerosis it is 100 mg a day (with vitamin A) for 20-40 days, in 3-6 months the treatment course may be repeated.

In dermatology it is taken in 100 mg per day for 20-40 days.

Interaction

Vitamin E enhances the effect of glucocorticosteroid drugs, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, cardiac glycosides.

Reduces the effectiveness and toxicity of vitamins A and D. Increases the effectiveness of antiepileptic drugs in patients with epilepsy.

The simultaneous use of other multivitamin complexes containing vitamin E is not recommended to avoid overdose.

The simultaneous use of high doses of vitamin E with iron, vitamin K or anticoagulants (agents that prevent blood clotting) increases blood clotting time.

Special Instructions

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Do not take a double dose if you missed the previous dose.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug Tocopherol acetate (Vitamin E), acute myocardial infarction, childhood.

With caution: hypoprothrombinemia, increased risk of thromboembolism, severe cardiosclerosis, previous myocardial infarction.

Overdose

Symptoms: when taking vitamin E for a long period at doses of 400-800 mg per day: – blurred vision, dizziness, headache, nausea, increased fatigue, diarrhea, gastralgia, asthenia.

. When taking more than 800 mg daily for a long period – increased risk of bleeding in patients with hypovitaminosis K, impaired thyroid hormone metabolism, sexual dysfunction, thrombophlebitis, thromboembolism, necrotizing colitis, sepsis, hyperbilirubinemia, renal failure, retinal hemorrhage, hemorrhagic stroke, ascites.

Treatment: symptomatic. Withdrawal of the drug, prescription of glucocorticosteroid drugs.
