Stimol is a development of the French pharmaceutical company Biocodex The drug has a double mechanism of action due to the content of two ingredients: malate and citrulline, which are the key links of the basic human metabolic cycle.

These two ingredients are both of natural origin.

Fatigue, even after intensive training, is a consequence of impaired cellular metabolism accompanied by energy deficiency and accumulation of waste products such as lactic acid and ammonia.

Stimol has a dual mechanism of action, normalizing cellular energy production and removing waste products.

Malate is an organic compound and is a salt of malic acid. Malate is involved in the Krebs cycle and gluconeogenesis, reduces the concentration of lactate in the blood, promotes normalization of metabolism and activates nonspecific protective factors of the body.

Citrulline is an amino acid that participates in the liver ammonia neutralization cycle resulting from the degradation of nitrogen-containing compounds. Intense exercise is known to damage muscle fibers and release large amounts of degradation products that need to be utilized.

Citrulline is incorporated into the urea cycle and increases the excretion of ammonium ions.

Indications

STIMOL is used in the symptomatic treatment of functional asthenia, asthenic syndrome, fatigue, during recovery from illnesses.

Since STIMOL contains no sugar it may be taken by people with diabetes.

How to take, the dosage

Adults and the elderly: 3.0 g (contents of 3 sachets) per day. Children from 5 years of age: 2.0 g (contents of 2 sachets) per day.

Stimol® should be taken with meals and the contents of the sachet mixed with about 100 ml of plain or sweetened water.

The course of the drug is 10-12 days.

Repeated courses are possible after a break (1-3 months) or upon the doctor’s recommendation.

Interaction

In order to avoid possible interactions with other medications, you should systematically let your doctor know what medications you are currently taking.

Special Instructions

Each sachet contains approximately 30 mg of sodium. This should be taken into consideration if you are on a salt-free diet.
