Sporobacterin, 10 ml suspension

Bacillus subtilis bacteria strain 534 secrete broad-spectrum antibacterial substances that inhibit the development of a number of pathogenic and opportunistic bacteria. The growth of saprophytes, including normal gut microflora, is not inhibited by sporobacterin.

The culture of Bacillus subtilis strain 534 also produces other bioactive substances such as proteolytic enzymes, lysozyme, lipase, amylase and others contributing to the breakdown of carbohydrates, fats and proteins and taking part in digestion and assimilation of food.

In addition, bacterial enzymes help to clean wounds and inflammatory foci from necrotic tissues. The drug has a pronounced immunostimulatory effect, including on the absorption and digestive activity of phagocytic blood cells and has a moderate anti-allergic effect.

Indications

Sporobacterin is prescribed for children over 6 months and adults.

The biomass of live Bacillus subtilis 534 – not less than 1×109 CFU.

Additives:

Sodium chloride 70 mg/ml,

Water purified to 1 ml.

The courses of treatment may be repeated if necessary.

! An opened vial of the drug, with the lid on, can be stored for up to 10 days at a temperature of 4 to 8°C.

The use of the drug has no effect on driving and operating machinery.

Contraindications

There are no contraindications for the use of Sporobacterin. The drug should be used with caution in case of drug allergy. The effect of the drug on pregnant women has not been studied.

It is not suitable for use: the drug, the integrity of the packaging is broken; the product is unlabeled; the product with altered physical properties and the presence of foreign impurities.

Side effects

In rare cases, there may be side effects in the form of chills, skin rashes, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.

If the dose is decreased or the drug is discontinued, these effects subside within 24 hours.
