Glucocorticosteroid for external use.

It has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiexudative and antipruritic effect.

It reduces manifestations and eliminates inflammatory skin reactions.

Pharmacokinetics

After absorption from the skin surface it is bound with plasma proteins and metabolized in liver with formation of inactive metabolites. It is excreted mainly by the kidneys.

How to take, the dosage

Externally.

A small amount of the drug is applied to the skin 2-4 times a day and lightly rubbed on a tampon wetted with an antiseptic liquid.

If necessary, an occlusive dressing may be applied and left on the affected surface for up to 3-4 days. It is not allowed to apply more than 2 g per day under the dressing.

The duration of treatment depends on the nature of the disease and is usually 5-10 days, with a prolonged course of the disease up to 25 days.

The ointment is preferred for dry forms of dermatosis.
