Forms specific resistance to Shigella sonnei, stimulates the appearance of specific antibodies, providing in 2-3 weeks immunity to infection for 1 year.

Composition

Liposaccharide solution

extracted from Shigella sonnei culture,

purified by enzymatic and physical-chemical methods.

How to take, the dosage

Adults and children aged 3 years and older – p/k (deep) or i.m. in the outer surface of the upper third of the upper arm – 50 mcg (0.5 ml) once.

If necessary the same dose of revaccination is carried out annually.

Ampules are opened and the procedure of drug administration is carried out in strict compliance with aseptic and antiseptic rules.

The drug from the opened ampoule must be used immediately.

The vaccination carried out shall be recorded in the established record forms indicating the name of the drug and date of vaccination, dose, manufacturer, series number and reaction to vaccination.

Interaction

The vaccination can be done on the same day as other preventive vaccinations with inactivated preparations or with an interval of at least 1 month after the last vaccination.

Special Instructions

Preventive vaccination is recommended for employees of infectious diseases hospitals and bacteriological laboratories;

Persons engaged in catering and public amenities: children attending children’s institutions and leaving for health camps;

Persons leaving for regions with a high incidence of dysentery Zonné;

before the seasonal rise in the incidence of this infection.

On epidemiological grounds vaccination is carried out in case of epidemic or threatened (natural disasters, major accidents in the water and sewage systems).

In order to identify contraindications on the day of vaccination a full medical history and thermometry should be collected, if necessary the necessary laboratory tests are performed.

Before vaccination, the integrity of the ampoule and packaging, the condition of the physical properties of the drug, check the expiration date.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity (including to previous administration of dysentery vaccine), acute period of infectious and noninfectious diseases, exacerbation of chronic diseases, period of recuperation or remission within 1 month.

After the acute period of the disease, pregnancy, children (under 3 years).
