Degenerative-dystrophic joint diseases:

– gonarthrosis;

– arthrosis of the interfinger joints;

– coxarthrosis;

– spondylosis;

– spondyloarthritis;

– meniscopathy;

– chondromalacia of the patella.

Composition

1 ampoule contains glycosaminoglycan-peptide complex 1 ml

How to take, the dosage

The drug is administered deeply intravenously: on day 1 – 0.3 ml, on day 2 – 0.5 ml and then 3 times a week – 1 ml for 5-6 weeks.

The repeated course of treatment is after the doctor’s consultation according to the same scheme.

Interaction

Rumalon may be used concomitantly with NSAIDs and GCS.

In concomitant use with indirect anticoagulants, antiaggregants and fibrinolytics may increase their effect.

Special Instructions

In concomitant use with indirect anticoagulants, antiaggregants and fibrinolytics, frequent monitoring of blood clotting is required.

Impact on ability to drive vehicles and mechanisms

The use of the drug does not affect the ability to perform potentially hazardous activities requiring high concentration and quick psychomotor reactions (driving vehicles, operating moving machinery, operator’s work).

Contraindications

– hypersensitivity to the components of the drug;

– rheumatoid arthritis;

– age under 18 years;

– pregnancy;

– period of breastfeeding;

– use in women of reproductive age who do not follow reliable contraceptive methods.

Side effects

Definition of the frequency of adverse reactions (according to WHO classification): Very common (≥1/10), common (≥1/100 to < 1/10), infrequent (≥1/1000 to < 1/100), rare (≥1/10 000 to < 1/1000), very rare (< 1/10 000), frequency unknown (based on available data, it was not possible to determine the frequency of occurrence).

Intensive immune system: rarely – allergic reactions, including anaphylactoid reactions, anaphylactic shock.

In case of these or any other side effects, the patient should stop using the drug and inform the attending physician.

Overdose

To date, no cases of overdose have been reported.
