The rosehip fruit is whole.
How to take, the dosage
About 10 g (1 tablespoon) of fruit is placed in an enamel bowl, pour 200 ml (1 cup) of hot boiled water, cover and insist on a boiling water bath for 15 min, cooled at room temperature for 45 min, strain, squeeze the remaining raw material. The volume of the resulting infusion bring boiled water to 200 ml.
The infusion is taken orally warm 2 times a day after meals: adults and children over 12 years – 1/2 cup, children from 6 to 12 years – 1/4 cup, 3 to 5 years – 2 tablespoons, from 1 to 2 years – 1 tablespoon, from 6 months to 1 year – 1-2 teaspoons.
The course of treatment is 3 – 4 weeks. It is recommended to shake the infusion before use.
Synopsis
Whole fruits cleaned of sepals and peduncles, false fruits and their parts (hypanthium) have various shapes, from spherical, ovate or oval to strongly elongated spindle-shaped; fruit length 0.7-3 cm, diameter 0.6-1.7 cm.
On top of the fruit there is a small round hole or pentagonal area. Fruits consist of a sprawling, fleshy and at maturity juicy receptacle (hypanthium) and numerous fruit-nuts inside it. Walls of dried fruits are firm and brittle, while the outer surface is shiny, less often matted and more or less wrinkled. Inside the fruit is abundantly lined with long, very stiff bristly hairs. The nuts are small, oblong, with faintly expressed edges. Color of fruits from orange-red to brownish-red, brownish-black; nuts light yellow, sometimes brownish.
Odor is absent. The taste of the water extract sour-sweet, slightly astringent.

Hypersensitivity to the drug, cholelithiasis, children under 6 months of age.
