Rinopront – reducing capillary permeability, adrenomimetic, antihistamine, anti-allergic, vasoconstrictor, anti-edema.

For 10-12 hours the phenomena of rhinitis, burning in the eyes, a feeling of heaviness in the head are eliminated.

Indications

Acute rhinitis of various origins (vasomotor, allergic, infectious-inflammatory), hay fever, sinusitis.

Pharmacological effect

Rhinopront – reduces capillary permeability, adrenomimetic, antihistamine, antiallergic, vasoconstrictor, decongestant.

For 10–12 hours, symptoms of rhinitis, burning in the eyes, and a feeling of heaviness in the head are eliminated.

Special instructions

In patients with angina pectoris, from the 15th day of treatment, trimetazidine increases coronary reserve (time before the onset of ischemic disorders during physical activity), limits changes in blood pressure during physical activity without changing heart rate, reduces the frequency of angina attacks and reduces nitrate consumption.

Composition

1 capsule contains:

Active substances:

carbinoxamine maleate 4.0 mg,

phenylephrine hydrochloride 20.0 mg.

Auxiliary items:

sucrose,

corn starch,

diethyl phthalate,

medium-long chain tiglycerides

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, thyrotoxicosis, pheochromocytoma, angle-closure glaucoma, prostate adenoma, hypertension, age (up to 1 year).

Side Effects

Dryness of the oral mucosa, decreased appetite, dyspepsia, blurred vision, dizziness, headache, insomnia, anxiety, lethargy, palpitations, cardialgia, increased blood pressure, changes in peripheral blood patterns, skin allergic reactions.

Interaction

Incompatible with MAO inhibitors; the adrenomimetic effect is enhanced by guanethidine and isobarine.

Halothane increases the risk of arrhythmia.

Overdose

Symptoms (in children and the elderly): stimulation of the central nervous system.
