Radevit Aktiv – dermatoprotective, stimulates regeneration, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic.

Radevit normalizes the processes of keratinization (the effects are due to the corresponding vitamins included in the product), stimulates regeneration processes.

Indications

Complex therapy for adults and children with ichthyosis and ichthyosiform dermatoses, seborrheic dermatitis, cracks, erosions and burns of the skin, uninfected wounds and ulcers, eczema, atopic dermatitis, neurodermatitis, allergic contact dermatitis (beyond the acute stage), psoriasis, dry skin.

Prevention of relapses of chronic inflammatory and allergic skin diseases, after cessation of treatment with glucocorticosteroids (in the subacute period), with easily irritated skin, including hypersensitivity to cosmetics.

Retinol, Vitamin E, Ergocalciferol

Composition

Active substances:
retinol palmitate (vitamin A) (in terms of 100% retinol palmitate) – 10 mg (composition per 1.0 g of substance: vitamin A palmitate 1.7 million IU, butylated hydroxyanisole 9 mg, butylated hydroxytoluene 9 mg or vitamin A palmitate 1.7 million IU, butylated hydroxytoluene 17 mg, sunflower oil up to 1.0 g), alpha-tocopherol acetate (vitamin E) – 5 mg, colecalciferol (vitamin D3) – 0.05 mg (composition per 1.0 g of substance: vitamin D3 25 mg (1.0 million IU), dl-alpha-tocopherol acetate 2.5 mg, triglycerides of fatty acids (medium chain length) 972.5 mg).
Excipients:
butylated hydroxytoluene 1.0 mg, butylated hydroxyanisole 1.0 mg, emulsion wax 80.0 mg, vaseline oil 50.0 mg, glycerol (glycerol) 100.0 mg, ethanol (ethyl alcohol 95%) 100.0 mg, purified water up to 1.0 g.

Pregnancy

It is not recommended to apply to large areas of skin during pregnancy and lactation.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug. Hypervitaminosis A, D, E, taking retinoids.

Side Effects

When used in the acute period – increased itching and erythema (in this case, the drug must be temporarily discontinued until the severity of the process decreases). Allergic reactions. To avoid overdose and the development of hypervitaminosis, it is not recommended to apply the drug to large surfaces of the skin (over 80%) for more than 6 weeks.

Interaction

Should not be used in combination with other drugs containing retinoids, vitamins A, E and D (risk of hypervitaminosis A, E, D).

The effect of the ointment is weakened by the simultaneous administration of glucocorticosteroids.

The administration of salicylates and glucocorticosteroids reduces side effects.

Storage conditions

Store at a temperature not exceeding 8 °C. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not allow freezing.

Shelf life

4 years. Do not use after the expiration date stated on the package.
